While I had good food as a vegetarian, my wife's food was very inconsistent. Some food would be good, others would be bad. The temperature of the food was always an issue, that is, hot food was not hot.

We were delighted with the first production show, Amade. Otherwise, with the exception of Sebastian Fucci, the other shows were poor to fair. Rock City was not appropriate for a family audience. Frankly, some of the dancing was offensive.
Service and Staff

Our room steward was outstanding, even though her mother in Madagascar was fighting a severe illness. Some members of the culinary staff were good while others were very poor. The latter group should not be granted another contract.
Ship Quality

Celebrity Eclipse is showing its age. The staff members seem to do the best they can to keep it clean and well-maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was nice. The bed was inordinately uncomfortable even though we had notified Celebrity ahead of time that we wanted a mattress topper, and we were assured each bed had two on them. That made no difference. I returned home with sore shoulders which I did not have when arriving on board. And, I did not incur any injury.

This ship does not live up to the quality about which Celebrity raves.
Yikes!! Maybe stick to the Poconos. Cruising isn’t something you do very well. You can always zip on down to Mexico and help finish the wall!! Vote Blue!
