Review summary

You wake up every day with a choice. I chose to do as little or as much as I want each day. I chose to enjoy each day of my vacation. This is my 3rd time on Vista. Once out of New York and Twice out of Galveston. Carnival Vista is Amazing with CD Matt and Super Amazing with CD Kendell Fire. Steakhouse, Jiji's, Alchemy , Deli and Room Service never disappoint.

Galveston is our home port. I personally have always had a great experience. This process was very smooth from parking to check-in with special assistant. Picking up mobility device at scootaround and then directly on the ship.

Fahrenheit 555 excellent service, speciality drinks and food. Bonsai Sushi good food and drinks. Jiji's amazing service and food. MDR good, but once you do the speciality restaurants it isnt in the same category. The Deli on Liddo is great. Chili Cheese Hotdogs and Meatball sandwich are my favs. Roomservice BLT, banana split, brownie, wings and fries are favs.

Best bar hands down. If you have special dietary needs this is the place. They can make anything. Just tell them your likes and dislikes. Excellent service and they listen.

JiJi Asian Kitchen

Must try. Good food and good service. The soups are awesome. Try the duck. Even though it seems not very adventurous, the sweet and sour shrimp were Amazing.

My daughter's creation. Ask for steak from the buritto side and get soft taco shells on the taco side. Load up on pico, limes and cilantro. (Taco truck aka Deck Tacos)🙂 Taco salad, make it your own is excellent.

The deli is Very good. Try the cookies. Lotsvof hot and cold options. Favs: Chili Cheese Hot dogs, meatball sandwich, buffalo chicken sandwich.

The drinks are still good. Tey the fishbowl at happy hour and embarkation day. The service is not as good as in the past, we waited at our table for 30 mins and no service. They do stay busy, so I consider it an isolated incident.

They were playing upbeat pop music. The music was good but NOT relaxing at All. Service was poor. I waited 45 mins and my tech never showed up. I had to go back to check in and the treatment I received was not what I expect from Carnival.
