Review summary

We enjoyed our cruise very much. The crew and staff aboard the Vista were excellent. I found the layout of the ship to be a bit confusing- we had to take an elevator to 4th and get on another elevator to get to 3rd deck main dining room. We enjoyed our ports very much.

The selection was plentiful and the staff was top notch. We visited every day with our granddaughter and the staff welcomed us by name. Wow! How do they do that? So very friendly.

Loved all the shops. I wish I could remember the name of one man in particular. He was from India and was a new employee. He made me feel so welcomed and he was so helpful.

Has great potential but we were missing several of our photo shoots and we had several pictures of people who we didn’t know. The staff in the pixel gallery were extremely helpful and were able to retrieve all of the missing pictures.

DJ - excellent Five stars for the electric violins Comedians- fantastic Stage show was painful. The dancing was excellent but the vocals were awful.

The design of the room is terrible. Many shows cannot be enjoyed because of the columns blocking the stage. The only time we were able to see everything was when we were sitting on the floor level.

Excellent in every way. Our steward, Gusti, was fantastic. Our wait staff in the main dining room were all so friendly. Our cruise director, Joey Boyes, AMAZING ENERGY and so kind to each passenger. Vista’s staff was top notch.

The layout and was a bit difficult to navigate. The interior design was nice. The Havana area was beautiful. The entire ship was clean and well maintained.

We only went to the shopping market that was right on the pier. We ate at Three Amigos restaurant. No excursions in Cozumel.

Belize City, Belize

We went to Rendezvous Caye. Loved our tender ship staff. Rendezvous Caye is beautiful and very clean. The people were very friendly and we enjoyed talking to the caretaker of the island. We did not enjoy the lunch at all but we brought snacks so everyone stayed happy. We loved the beer that they sold. Everything was amazing....except the lunch.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Looking forward to returning to Roatan. We went to see the iguanas, sloths, birds, and monkeys. We went to the chocolate and rum factories. We ate at a local restaurant and we loved it. We didn’t have time for shopping but hoping to shop on our next visit to Roatan.

Disembarkation

I believe that there was computer problems in customs and it took several hours to disembark. Although this was a nightmare, the crew onboard remained very kind and was very apologetic concerning the delay.

I heard from a YouTuber that went on the Vista that the crew and room stewards were not very personable. Is this true? I ask because I am hearing two different things. Just trying to get a detailed feel on what you personally experienced. Thanks! Me and my wife are going in January 2020 for our 3rd Wedding Anniversary! :)
