Review summary

All my photos are on my phone or I would share them. I LOVE Build A Bear - I wish I would have known before hand. Also I would like to have known ahead of time that there was going to be a Veteran's Group get together, we would have brought more Military type t-shirts to wear. The photo people should have a mirror near by - I don't know how many pics I didn't purchase because my hair wasn't right or something like that. All my other comments are above. I hope that helps. Please contact me if you want to.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

David's Steakhouse

5 out of 5

It was very nice and elegant. The food was very good, a little too expensive, but very good.

Butterflies Lounge

5 out of 5

It was very nice. The seats were comfortable but the way for floor dips in spots was UN-nearving the first time walking down.

Guy's Burger Joint

4 out of 5

The burgers were great! The fries were too spicy for me.

The Fun Shops

5 out of 5

They were very nice and fun to shop in. We coundn't afford to buy any of the jewelry in the store.

Guest Services / Shore Excursions

5 out of 5

Every time we had a question or problem we went there and within a few mins of waiting in line we were helped and the issues was resolved.

Internet Cafe

4 out of 5

The service was very good - I think that the price should have included both of us. So instead of me logging in and out, and, taking the chance losing the connection, I stayed logged in and my husband didn't have WIFI unless we were in port. It was very inconvenient.

Entertainment

It was fine except that there was only one plug at the vanity and we needed to ask for an extension cord for Paul's CPAP machine - also we had to unplug it and plug in our phone charges - it was a bit annoying but if I wasn't asked I don't know if I would have mentioned it.

Ship tip

Bring ear plugs - the music was very nice - but loud!

Ports of call

Grand Turk Island

We took a tour with Albert - he was very nice - it's a shame that the island is still devastated from "Andrew". It was nice to see all the all historic buildings still standing - lunch was great at Sunshines! I tried to get a stamp in my passport - but I waited for 90 mins for "Betty" to returned (the sign on the door said 45 mins) I had to leave disappointed, hot and tired to get back to the ship.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

We went shopping and had a very nice time doing this - but then we tried to get a stamp in our passports but for the longest time we were told to go here and go there - we finally walked about 20 mins and we got the stamp! Carnival should have someone as the passengers come off the ship for those of us who like to get these. Just a thought.

I know there are a lot of people and only so many customs angents - I thought it went well - we checked our luggage and knew we had to wait - we only waited about 90 mins. I know that we needed to get out of the cabins so they could be cleaned - but if we could have stayed in them a little longed that would have been nice.
