A vacation that you can design to meet your needs

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

This was our first cruise and we desperately needed a relaxing get away from our "sandwich family".  We spent most of the time reading, sitting by the adult pool and relaxing on our balcony and in our room.  My husband made good use of the fitness center.  However, if activity is what you are looking for there is plenty to do on board, day and night for young and old.

We took excursions to all three ports and had a wonderful beach time each day.  The stop in Freeport was very short and the cost of the excursion we booked and the taxi fare to and from was quite costly for the hours we spent there.  Otherwise, no complaints!

Cabin / Stateroom
Amazingly well maintained and PRIVATE! I loved being at sea and seeing, hearing no one!
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Well managed and directed
Ship Quality
The Pride seemed a little ... worn and dated. Sort of like an old Las Vegas casino feel ?? But it is kept very clean.
Destinations and Excursions
We booked through an outside travel source and the sites were great but with the additional cost of travel could have done just as well probably using the cruise line trips
Onboard Activities
We just didn't participate in many but there was plenty to do if you chose to!
Enjoyed the one comedy show we went to.
Service and Staff
they are all so helpful and accommodating!!
Food and Dining
Baltimore, Maryland
Port Canaveral, Florida
Took a bus to Cocoa Beach and had a lovely day there
Nassau, Bahamas
We booked a day at an all inclusive resort through a travel site other than the cruise line. Had a fabulous day at the Breezes Resort. Easy taxi ride. $25 there, $15 back.
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
Booked a day at an all inclusive resort through a travel site other than the cruise line. Had a nice, short time at the Wyndham (a real step down from the Breezes in Nassau - how quickly you can be spoiled!) and the taxi ride was $40 each way!! A very expensive 4 hour stay at a nice beach.
