Review summary

Overall the trip was great. Everyone had so much fun. You could tell there was a lot of effort put in by the "fun squad" to ensure guests were enjoying themselves. There were two separate medical emergencies which required returning to ports. Both times things were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The serenity deck got quite crowded on sea days. But walking around deck 5, you could normally find a quiet spot to enjoy.

Embarkation

Super fast and easy. We arrived 30 minutes before our selected time and were still able to check in.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Buffet was alright, although at the end we were tired of the same options. Tried Ji Ji's and Cucina's. Both were yummy but we preferred the Asian.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We didn't do much except for relax. However, excluding some unattended children abusing equipment, things were nice.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We really enjoyed the late night sing along with Ben in the piano bar. It was lots of fun.

Children's Programs

We had a penguin and a sting ray this trip. They both had so much fun. We did night owls twice. On the second night our younger child fell asleep and they had her on a little bed waiting for us. Both kids made lots of friends and memories.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

Layout was a little awkward. Things seemed cramped. However everything was clean. You'd see people walking around cleaning at all times of the day.

Cabin / Stateroom

We absolutely LOVED the cove balcony. It was secluded and the waves were so close. Being close to the bottom middle of the ship kept any rocking to a minimum.

Ship tip

Explore as much as you can. There's so much to see and do.

Did a day trip to the beach. Afterwards went searching for souvenirs. Found lots of neat things at Walmart! We even grabbed a Spanish comic book for our son.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Went whale watching with open bar. Service was nice. Saw some whales, had lots of rum :)

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

Disembarkation

Customs took a while, but otherwise things went well. Long lines, but with 4000 people getting off that's to be expected.
