Review summary

My favorite part of the cruise was that it was completely and totally stress free!!  A true vacation in my eyes is when you have absolutely nothing that you have to think about, & this cruise did a great job of ensuring that was the case.

The improvements to make this cruise excellent are minor & may have more to do with the affiliates on the ship rather than Carnival itself.  Those items were:  Golden Olympian restaurant dinner was not that good; 2 nights I had fish & it was horrible, the spa is way too expensive, they should include available classes with prices for the gym inside the Fun Times daily guide, when giving out free gifts; like spa gift cert or wine, extend the use until the duration of your trip because most people will not look for an expiration date on these items & the spa needs to be booked about 2 days ahead of time. The worst part of the entire cruise is the "photo process"  It's absolutely ludacris!!! We're in the age of technology, there's no reason for people to have to look through pictures of everybody on the boat to find the one of your party.  I don't know if that's supposed to be fun, but they definitely need to streamline that process where you can put your cabin number or name in & it will pop up on your TV or picture kiosk.

Guy who took care of our cabin was great!

Ship tip

Carnival automatically charges tips to your tab, but the only person on the entire cruise who deserved a tip was the guy who cleaned our room. I found out from a consistent cruiser that you could get the tip credited back to your card & give tips out to those people who truly deserve it.
