Review summary

Great cruise from our home port of New Orleans. We will definitely go on Glory again. The casino was actually pleasant with the new non-smoking rules enforced. You can only smoke in certain areas, not at the bar at all, and ONLY if you are actively playing. Wonderful improvement! I hope those rules stay in place!!

With the Diamond/Platinum line now gone I felt there were way too many 10:30 checkin times given. Also it did not appear that times were being enforced.

While the galley was still somewhat slow it was only their second cruise since the restart. The food was all wonderful!!! The buffet is now completely marked for gluten free and there is a GF dessert every day in the buffet. Yay!!!!

The play list shows appear to have been refreshed with a more impressive digital screen presentation and nicer costumes.

The entire crew was smiling and just as happy as the cruisers to return! Big smiles everywhere!

Ship Quality

The ship has been to dry dock twice since I was last on it in 2016. The common space furniture appeared new. Everything was definitely clean and tidy.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was very comfortable with plenty of storage. The bathroom could use an update but was perfectly fine.

Ship tip

Be sure to check out all the night time entertainment. The Glory Rock Band was fabulous!
