Review summary

Love cruising out of Galveston, as it is an easy drive from Austin. Plenty of storage and easy to put away a weeks worth of clothes. Super friendly crew!!!! Food was excellent (and I've cruised on numerous cruise lines including the #1 river cruise line in Europe). Splurged one night on the Steakhouse and it was extraordinary. Comedy shows in the Punchliner were hysterical! The show "Flick" in the main showroom was the probably the best "revue" type show I've seen on a ship. Great value!!!!!!!!

Don't think we'll get an aft-view extended balcony again. The divider between the balconies is slanted, so by standing at the rail you can see right into your neighbor's balcony and easily into their cabin. The extended balcony is actually unusable and really only visual, as the side is slanted back and actual usable space is the same as a regular balcony cabin. We enjoyed the view, but the sound of the wake is pretty noisy and some might think it too loud!
