Review summary

Would I travel again.. well it would not be a first choice but then I am not loyal to any line, for me it’s about the itinerary and if that happens to be of in interest then maybe I will but not one I would be recommending others to actively look at traveling with Azamara.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
This happed on ship not in terminal due to issues but was smooth , however checkin staff did not understand the pre boarding documentation that was completed to save time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Lacked taste but not bad. Have to pay for specialty restaurants that seems odd for this class of ship unlike others we have sailed with in the past.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Small ship so no big activities. But that’s what’s nice about this size of ship. However we did have no entertainment team for 2nd half of Cruise as they did not get back onboard post Rio .

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Small ship again so not big productions.

Service and Staff

Cabin / Stateroom

Nice size and cleaned well .

Ship tip

Don’t use onboard shore excursions. Not worth it and badly organised. And not as advertised.

Loved this place lovely place to stop. Do the trolley tour on your own and get to see all the lovely beaches , don’t need to do this trip with ship .

Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

3 out of 5
If it had not have been for carnival , we would have struggled for more things to do after 3 nights .

Punta Del Este, Uruguay Did not visit port

Stop was cancelled.

Disembarkation
