Review summary

This cruise could have been better due to how much we payed. Their could have been more things for the kids to do. The rooms were clean but quaint.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
The cruise terminal was difficult to get to but once you get their very simple and easy to get through.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The main dining room had okay food it could have been better for the money that people pay to go on this ship. The buffet was very small and did not have very good food. The food was pretty much all the same.

Bionic Bar

3 out of 5

It was hard to understand how to do it but it was cute. Half the time it barely worked. It only has a few non-alcoholic drinks for the kids though and you have to be over 21 to start and pick your drinks.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We had went to the pools almost everyday. My cousin did the rock climbing wall and my whole family did the North Star. Their could have been more to offer for pools it seemed like the pools were mainly for adults. They were small and always packed. The rock climbing wall was fun but they should accommodate bigger equipment for bigger people. The North Star was an awesome experience we did it in Nassau Bahamas and we could see everything it was an excellent experience that you have to try for yourself. Even if you are scared of heights you won’t be on the North Star because it moves slowly.

Whirlpool

2 out of 5

The kids had gone in the whirlpool and it had very powerful jets that hurt when you went by them. It also scratched me up by scraping the sides and we had gotten bruises and scratches from it.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We saw we will rock you and it was not a very good show. It was long and just dragged on so we ended up leaving early. We also saw a caberat show and it was very cool. It had acrobatics In it and singing.

The Royal Theater

2 out of 5

The royal theater had made me sick every time we saw a show in their. Ahich we saw 2 shows. The ship was rocking really bad and you can definitely feel it their especially since you can’t see outside it makes it worse.

Children's Programs

I did not go or have kids that went.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The waiters in the main dining room were okay they didn’t really tell you what was going on or check in on you. The room stewards were very nice and respectful and they cared about how you feel and how you are doing.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ships layout and design was very good although it was difficult with the elevators. They only have elevators in the forward and aft of the boat. The common areas were very clean and maintained they always were around to clean off tables for you.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was very nice. Had very comfortable outdoor seating and was a fairly good sized room. Our cabin was always kept clean by our room steward he was very nice.

Ship tip

I would bring Dramamine with you even though they do supply it on the ship. Also ask the waiters in the main dining room about any food.

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

2 out of 5
This port was hard to get to and find.

Port Canaveral, Florida

4 out of 5
This port is beautiful although it is farm from Disney, universal, and Disney springs.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

3 out of 5
They keep their island very clean. But it took a while to get on the island.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
This port is beautiful. It is in the perfect location and you can see everything.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
They have your disembarkation well planned out. But due to everyone trying to get out they shut the terminal for about 20 minutes while we were in line.
