Santa Rosalia
Located on the Gulf of California, halfway down the Baja Peninsula, lies the quaint seaside resort of Santa Rosalia, unique in Baja because of its prominent French heritage. A French mining company built Santa Rosalia to mine the area's rich copper reserves in 1885. Among the many sights here are the church designed by Gustave Eiffel, the Municipal Palace, and the Gandhi Library.
