How Clean is Your Cruise Ship?

One thing that many of us don't consider when we book a cruise is the ship's recent health inspection score. We pick a ship motivated perhaps by price, itinerary, service, food or service. Yet, cleanliness is even more important. Here is the link to the CDC Website to check how well the ship for your next cruise scored on its most recent health inspection.

Anything lower than 86% is a fail. Some ships that recently scored 100% include: Island Princess ('17 & '16,) Radiance of the Seas ('17 & '16,) Koningsdam ('17 & '16) and the Westerdam ('16.)

Link didn't work for me as well. But it is an interesting topic.

The link didn't work when I clicked on it.

We trust that the ships we cruise on have passed their inspections because they are done regularly.

On any given day. Just like a restaurant, on one day everything could be perfect - the next - not so perfect. Good to know that ships are reviewed too. It makes sense, but I never thought about it.
