Generally, RCI, Disney and Carnival are geared to families with kids. The shorter cruises (under 7 days) and cruises during the school breaks will have more of them.
The other lines seem to be geared a bit more towards adults.

Well said. I don't like hearing that either. Cruising is so great! Explore other lines and ports. Research is always good too.
