September 2015 - 7 Night Western Caribbean (Galveston Roundtrip) Cruise on Navigator of the Seas
Navigator of the Seas, Royal Caribbean
We all had a really good time, there were activities for my 17 year old, so she did meet some of her peers on the ship. This enhanced her experience on the cruise. The staff could not do enough for us, we really were surprised on the level of service we got. The soda package was not worth it, as getting refills were not as easy as you would think. The internet was fine the last couple of days at sea, it worked fine, but was overpriced in my opinion. The on-board activities were OK and the shows were mostly comedians. The ice show was the exception and was really good.

Wonderful cruise, beautiful weather
Great experience, onboard activities could be better, but overall a great experience. Royal has a naturalist on board that talks about the glaciers, the wildlife, and the native tribes of Alaska which made the experience even better.
Save time to take the tram up the volcano. It is $33 but really spectacular with a 1 mile scenic loop. Also the Mendenhall glacier has a 2 mile round trip hike where you can see the glacier and the waterfall next to it.
Bring things to do for a relaxing day.
Radiance of the Seas
Bring things to do onboard. Also bring a light waterproof jacket that can be layered and takenit everywhere (especially to water activities like whale watching) just in case.
Navigator of the Seas
Don't waste money on the soda package, regular coffee, tea, lemonade, and strawberry kiwi water is free, also they have coffee, tea, OJ and apple juice available for breakfast along with milk.
