we wondered if Celebrity cruise lines could match its previous performance last year and it did. With a spotless ship, superior service in restaurants, cabins and common areas, it was another great performance. The only knock, might be the quality of the on ship show performances. A good cast, but not exceptional. Great ports of call and on time performance. Will be back with them
Cruise tips
You have to see Ephesus, avoid any offer to go to local manufacturers son rugs etc.
Beautiful city, which can be done as a self walking tour in about 4 hours
Google the private transfer companies to get the best deal for transport, to from airport and hotels
Pompei is ok, but Almafi coast and Positano a must see
Take bus x80 (4€ good all day ticket)at the port direct to the centre of Athens and take a free walking tour.
Do a private full day tour of Jerusalem to get a personal and complete history of the wonderful place
Free shuttle from the port to town. Easy walk to all local areas, no tour required
