June 2016 - 3 days on Empress of the Seas
The only positive thing I can say about this ship is that the staff is friendly and courteous. The cabin we stayed in was horrible. The toilet over flowed into our cabin them tee times, the walls had what appeared to be holes and there was a horrible noise which I assumed to be the drapes rattling. This was a family cruise which we had built up based on our past experience with Royal Caribbean and the children were terribly disappointed. The food selection was horrible, the activities were horrible, the air conditioning in our cabin did not work, the speakers on one side of the boat did not work. The complaints are endless. We have taken several cruises with as many as 20 of our family members and have always requested Royal Caribbean. It is a shame to know that you would sail such a disquieting and low quality ship in your fleet. Each person that was on that boat deserves a full refund of their money. I am quite sure I am not the only person you will hear this from. If this is the quality of sevice your company is now giving... We will choose Carnival in the future. Extremely disappointed.
