This cruise has something for everyone about the same number of days at sea and in port. The ports we visited were interesting and wonderful places to visit. Be aware that the ports in Chile (except Valparaiso) and Stanley, Falkland Islands require tendering with Stanley being the longest. Visiting South America was experience I'll remember always.
Cruise tips
Getting the tour to the airport or cruise is hotel is a relaxing way to get between Valparaiso and Santiago which is about an hour or so drive.
Rough seas and a medical emergency prevented going there.
Norwegian Sun
Le Bistro is the best of the premium restaurants with extremely attentive staff. Windjammer Bar has excellent entertainment.
Best of Uruguay is the best excursion
Port Stanley, Falkland Islands
Went on trip to see penguins (which were fantastic), but our driver didn't tell us much of anything. She was always in a hurry and never spoke unless questioned and then only short answers.
