Review summary

Labadee a huge surprise. Beautiful and scenic. Tons of beaches and umbrellas. Zip lines and the incredible Dragons Lair coaster, a must try. Went to Barrachina in San Juan, the home of the Pina Colada. Wow. Delicious. Did the bus tour of St Thomas. Underrated excursion. Enjoyed.

Not a pretty building at FLL but we were in and out in less than 15 minutes. Pleased.

Food and Dining

Been on Symphony and Adventure and other than the delicious bratwursts on the Boardwalk, the food was mixed at best. MDR was underwhelming and disappointing. Pizza solid. Rockets just average. Chops was good, the new Mason Jar simply not worth $49 for fried chicken. It was fine but not spicy as advertised. Windjammer was always a zoo. It was ok. Ate most breakfasts at Solarium Bistro. Less crowded and great setting.

Onboard Activities

Solarium is incredible. Visited every day. New golf course design a joke. No hole numbers and unplayable. Pools very crowded at only 5300 onboard. Ship very colorful and beautiful. Loved the singer at Cork bar. Liked the new risers at end of pools. Allowed for shaded seating. Great addition. Casino smoky on starboard side and livable on port for some reason.

Entertainment

5 out of 5

365 ice show phenomenal. Intense Aqua show always exciting. No Broadway show but Voices decent and loved the Journey cover band DSB. Onboard singers and musicians solid. Always love sitting in Central Park at night listening to music as well as the Scottish bar on Promenade.

Service and Staff

Our steward Franklyn very attentive and helpful. Staff for the most part very friendly. Only at the comedy club were the staff a bit snippy. Bartenders at Solarium super friendly

Ship tip

Other than the food, it’s a great ship with tons to do. Love the new hot tubs and solarium. Colorful and fun. Loved our extended bubble balcony room on 8. Enjoy the Serenity of the Central Park.
