Best cruise ever. We waited over 2 years for this one and was well worth the wait.
Embarkation

We were Star class for this one. We got there around 0930 and things were a bit hectic. Star class banner wasn’t out yet so that created a bit of confusion. The other porters were out though and working their tails off. Check in took about 10 minutes, and when it was ready, Marla (our royal genie) escorted us onto the ship.

The only problem I had with entertainment was that the shows weren’t ready, but that is to be expected with an inaugural. What they performed, was DYNAMITE!!!
Royal Theater

Spectacular shows!!! Tap factory was easily my favorite show. Voices and Jennifer singer were very good also. The magician was pretty good also, but a lot of hype videos for some slight of hand magic (which is cool, don’t get me wrong). Saw Tap Factory twice, was well worth it!!
Promenade Shops

Seemed smaller than on most ships with less of a selection. Not sure if it’s designed that way or supply chain problems.

The best ice show I’ve seen. They were able to perform the entire show, but only had 5% of the set. The skill was amazing!!
Aquatheater

Water the show from the balcony and upfront. They only had a few scenes ready. When the show is complete, you will be in for a treat!!!
Service and Staff

We have to start off with Marla, our royal genie. This woman is easily one of the best in the fleet. From the time we met to the time we had to say goodbye, she was in constant contact with us. Setting up reservations, holding seats, sending up food and drinks to the cabin, and arranging dining on the balcony during the aqua show, there was never a problem she couldn’t handle. If you ever have the chance to travel Star class, hope you get her as a genie!!
Viola our stateroom attendant is top notch!! Always asking us if we need anything and even with 8 of us in the cabin, kept it very clean and tidy.
JR in the suite sun deck bar makes the BEST DRINKS!!!!! Top shelf for everyone!!!!!
Lucian and Alex from playmakers were awesome. We all watched a soccer match together.
