Review summary

We \"Yachted the Mediterranean\" on the \"Windstar\" and had a great experience. The raising of the sails accompanied by very moving music is a memory that we will treasure forever. The staff was very attentive, the food was excellent and the staterooms and common areas were quite appropriate. The ship even had a great medical doctor onboard. we met some wonderful people and thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

The variety of the menus\, schedule of times and the quality of the food itself was superb. However\, I did not care for the way Windstar dealt with accommodating people with special dietary requirements - I think the \"process\" could have been smoother.

Entertainment

The same \"duo\" was the only musical entertainment every night. Other than the \"daily briefing\" there was little or no informational sessions/seminars on the regions we were visiting. The shore excursions were varied\, interesting\, and well run with the exception of \"time allotted\". Most excursions could have been a little longer to allow for individual exploration or shopping.

Great room - even better stateroom attendants!

Pros: The itinerary was awesome. Each day brought new and wonderful vistas outside our porthole.

Cons: The internet service was very disappointing as was the variety (or lack of) of entertainment/educational options on board the ship

Internet service is slow on all ship. This ship was no exception. Sorry to read about the difficult in handling food requests. This is important for my husband.
