Review summary

I went with other ladies from our church organization. we had meetings but lots of free time also. Relaxed and enjoyed the view. Spent time playing games with friends. Just enjoying life.

Embarkation

At Galveston the new terminal makes it easy. Dropped my passengers off, parked at North Lot and walked back to terminal. No waiting in line.

Food and Dining

I only ate at Windjammer once and it was good. Had a salad and hamburger plus a couple of cookies that were soft and good. Every breakfast in MDR and the food was always good except egg Benedict the muffin was too hard to eat. Dinner each night was good with the exception of Mexican and Italian night. I ordered the lasagna and it was no where what I would call lasagna. The spaghetti was good. you be the judge. We all have different taste. Our wait staff was excellent.

Cafe Promenade

I bought the coffee card and the coffee didn’t disappoint. Herbert was the bistro and he made my coffee good. I had ice cream and the scoop and it was delicious . This is a good place to hang out and drink coffee or tea.

Windjammer Marketplace

It’s a buffet. Too many choices for me but the salad bar was great and so was the hamburger. I only ate there once on port day. Others said it was good.

Main Lounge

Most nights food was good. Wait staff excellent.

Onboard Activities

Although I didn’t participate there was activities for all ages.

Room steward was great. Waiters always great.

Old ship. Some of the chairs in Cafe Promenade needed to be thrown out and new ones added. Yes there were stains and wear but our cabin was clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

Interior virtual cabin. Room was small but had lots of storage.

Ship tip

Don’t overpack. No one is watching what you wear unless it’s a dynamite outfit. lol.

We had a medical emergency so I ran and cut ahead of people. But even if not the case, the lines were moving quickly.
