just know: clear water, surf conditions, and seaweed are dependent on weather and seasonal factors that typically effect all the adjacent beach fronts. Some of the beaches are quite rocky, that's a turnoff for many

Know 2 basic things: 1) not all Cozumel beaches are sandy beaches and not all the sandy beaches are rock-free under the water. 2) Water quality and sargassum will basically be the same for all the beaches on any given day. So, now tell everyone what facilities you want

There are a few beach clubs about a 19 minute ride from the port.. beach, pool area, restaurants.
