Look up Cruisemapper or Cruisedeckplans. You look up your ship, the deck your, then your room #. No matter what orientation your cabin is, most ships nowadays have stabilizers to make for a steady ship.

Pick you own cabin after doing some homework to see what above and below it.them choosing your cabin may result in noise or just a crappy cabin nobody wants..

It's really not that bad, you just have to learn the floor plans for the shop. You can Google the ship to locate the floor plans.
