Viking River cruises are all about the locations and excursions. Not much to do on the small boat but enjoy the company

Small but very efficient and clean. Best small bathroom layout I have ever seen. Double swing shower doors made it easier to use and more spacious

Ship tip

They say all inclusive and no nickel and diming but it’s not very clear that gratuities are not included and it was a surprise to some. You had to do a little research to verify that gratuities are not included in the all inclusive price. I don’t remember the sales person emphasizing that.

We were surprised by how dirty and crowded and full of pot smoking this city was. Take the canal cruise but I wouldn’t recommend a long stay in this expensive city.

Tell me, was this your first Viking cruise? Did you do only the included excursions? Do you see a need to do any additional excursions? Do you see a lot of scenery along the river feom the boat?
