Review summary

During the pandemic, travel is difficult, but Viking does the difficult task of making sure you have everything you need to make traveling possible. Our trip was amazing and we were able to visit at least a dozen Christmas Markets. Every excursion was better than the next, and the ship felt like home.

The food was very good. Not the best we've ever had on a cruise, but they certainly tried to please everyone.

Onboard Activities

This was a river cruise, so onboard activities are somewhat limited, but our cruise director, Gavin, was amazing.

Entertainment

The cruise director was fantastic, and the musician onboard was wonderful. The guest entertainment such as the glass blowing demonstration, the cooking demonstrations, etc were fun.

Wonderful staff. Every one of the staff smiled, and were super helpful.

The ship is very comfortable and homey. It was spotless and well maintained.

Nice cabin. It was always kept clean and the mini fridge well stocked. We even had a selection of fresh fruit every day.

Ship tip

Be patient and trust that they will keep you informed of the ever changing rules for travel.

Disembarkation

We were escorted from the ship to the airport and directly to our airline for check in. It could not have been more perfect.
