We were in Germany and France and expected
some local entertainment. Only one night did they bring on entertainment and the entertainment played music from the 70s and 80s. We expected local regional entertainment.

Room steward was outstanding. Waiters in the dining room had too many tables to take care of. Service was below what we expected. Bartenders in the bar area were very good.

Our cabin was on the mid-level. Without a balcony. Cabin was small, but to be expected on a river cruise.
Ship tip
We pre-paid gratuities for the crew on the ship. However, the cruise Director suggested that we give additional tips for outstanding service. Also, we were constantly tipping bus, drivers and local guides. All this should be included in the price of the cruise
This was a total waste of a day. We spent all day there, and the tours were just to see a few windmills. They should’ve taken us to Amsterdam and let us spent the day in Amsterdam
we were transported directly from the ship to the airport never had time to see Amsterdam. Very poor planning on the part of the cruise line. Never had time to see Amsterdam as as soon as we got there, we had to disembark.
Very easy to get off the ship and be transported to the airport. The guide that met us at the airport was very helpful getting us through the check in process
