The sail along the Rhine looking at the many castles on each side of the ship was a highlight. The cruise director provided commentary about the castles and gave us a map identifying what we saw.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Meals in the dining room were exceptional. We also enjoyed having lunch on the deck lounge.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Very few onboard experiences other than the cruise talks each day about our next port and the evening meal. We had one concert and a historical talk.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
They had a musician who played, but we did not come to this. There was one classical concert, a violin and cello, but only part of the concert was classical.
Children's Programs
No children on Viking cruises
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Service in the dining room was at times a bit slow. It could be they are short staffed, but we often had to ask for a water or coffee refill. Room stewards were excellent.

Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin was smaller than I expected. The Veranda was very small, just room for two small chairs, but we did use it several times during the voyage.
Ship tip
Get a suite if you can afford it. Much larger room.
