Everything on this cruise was outstanding. From the time we were met at the

airport to when we started home and a Viking rep actually went into the airport and helped us get our boarding passes, the Viking people thought of everything to make our trip perfect.

We saw beautiful scenery, interesting cities and countries with very interesting histories, and lovely people. Our trip included outstanding food (with interesting wines for lunch & dinner as well as mimosas at breakfast),  well thought out variety of excursions (included}, a room with high end fixtures & bedding that was Happytidied up several times a day, and friendly, helpful, hard-working staff that met our every need and whim.

Of course the rooms on cruises are small, but the balcony really expanded it, and we enjoyed sitting out on it. The shower was exceptional, with good water pressure, and a nice hand-held shower head. Bedding & bed were very comfortable. Room was cleaned frequently & bottled water was kept replenished all the time

Ship Tip

Be prepared for a wonderful experience. On this Eastern European tour these formerly Communist countries are an especially interesting part of Europe that aren't so touristy, and have beautiful scenery & architecture with wonderful, friendly people who show inspiring resiliency.

It has the most beautiful buildings! Anything you buy is expensive and same souvenirs are seen everywhere!

The small group visit to a home was a highlight of the trip.

I loved the view from the fort, and this was my favorite shopping city. Great original souvenirs at a reasonable price.

Nice to have a day in Budapest to prepare for the long flight. Appreciated Viking making the airport transfer so easy, even setting ups an early (3AM!) breakfast, and sending someone into the airport with us to help with boarding passes.
