This was my first river cruise and I loved it. Would definitely do another cruise.

There was a lot of wasted time waiting in the hotel lobby. Leave our rooms by 11 and wait in the lobby till 3 before going to the ship.

We cruised in 2017 on Viking Lofn from Amsterdam to Basel. We didn't have the problem of getting off & on. Maybe I should write a review one of these days! Great cruise.

Wow, I always figured if it's one thing that would go right on a river cruise it would be embarkation/debarkation. So few people, how could they mess that up. Glad it was fun otherwise.
