Most everything on the cruise was good, but returning to a sewage smelling room the first few days really put a damper on our cruise experience. The worst part is some of the crew we complained to could not smell it! The cabin steward could smell it, so it wasn't us! I was an issue that would crop up occasionally throughout the cruise. It was never fully resolved. I really enjoyed the shore excursions and the food!
Embarkation
3 out of 5
My traveling companion had trouble boarding the bus as the first step was very high off the ground.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The dining room experience was great. I tried some new dishes - some I liked, some I did not.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
There was only one activity I attended, which was a talk by a military historian. The rest I was not interested in attending.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
No shows, just a pianist. A duo came one night but I did not attend. The games (i.e. Trivia challenge) set up I was not interested in attending.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
There was an issue with our stateroom which was not solved until the fourth day. Waiters were great and the room steward did the best he could.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The layout seemed good (I would not know how to improve it) and the common areas were clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

The overall size and comfort was great. The bathroom smelled of sewage the first three nights we were on the cruise. There were no other rooms available that were accessible by elevator. My traveling companion needed the elevator, which is why we booked the third deck.
