Review summary

Great cruise in all ways. Some days we had to leave rather early for excursions, earlier than even this early riser likes.

Embarkation

Effortless!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Impeccable service and they truly catered to my dietary restrictions of gluten and dairy allergies. They were creative in making my meals special.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Being a river cruise the onboard activities were minimal, but good. Informational lectures were very good, informative and laced with good, clean humor.

Entertainment

Preferred our quiet time in the evening after dinner.

Children's Programs

No children on board!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Impeccable service on all levels. However, when we inquired about a museum guest services was not familiar with they did not offer to research it. This one event was disappointing, since this is their job.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Immaculate, well designed and comfortable.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Decent amount of room and efficiently designed.

Ship tip

Pack minimally! Dress is somewhat casual and this is another positive aspect of this type of cruise.

Beautiful city, great Military Airborne, and visit to Airborne cemetery. Did not spend enough time at the cemetery.

Loved this port, also. Each place was different and enjoyable.

Veere, Netherlands

5 out of 5
Beautiful town and nice port.

DELTA WORKS, ZEELAND, THE NETHERLANDS

5 out of 5
Ingrid was an excellent guide, Veere was a charming town and the Delta Works museum was fascinating. My only criticism is not stopping to take photos of the Zeeland Bridge, the longest bridge in the Netherlands.

Keukenhof Gardens (From Amsterdam), Netherlands

5 out of 5
I highly recommend these gardens, allow lots of time to explore pavilions and stroll the many acres. Our guide Shirley did not meet our expectation, provided little information that was worthwhile.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy!
