Terrific Cruise on the Rhine

Sail Date: April 30, 2016

Reviewed: 5 months ago

Traveled As: Couple

Cabin: 333

The views throughout the cruise were great. Smooth sailing.  Superb service and clean ship and staterooms. Staterooms very comfortable.  Enjoyed the view from the room.  Excursions were well planned and appropriately described as to how strenuous the activities would be.    Would have enjoyed additional time in some cities and post excursions.

Cruise Photos

Cabin / Stateroom
Very quiet room. Comfortable. Great views from the room. Enjoyed the balcony too.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Very smooth and professional.
Ship Quality
Extremely clean.
Destinations and Excursions
Destinations and excursions were great. Appreciated the water before each excursion and warm towel upon returning to ship.
Onboard Activities
Would have liked more on board activities. During sailing time (especially during the daytime) there were not any activities offered.
The few nights of entertainment were great, however, would have liked more entertainment and not just geared towards 60+ age group.
Service and Staff
Service and staff are very professional, always friendly and smiling. Great Staff!
Food and Dining
A LOT of food. Great presentations. Enjoyed the German feast the most.

Prepare to walk a lot. Wear supportive shoes. Take sweater/rain coat.
