Review summary

The food on Veendam was excellent. The entertainment was excellent also. I prefer comedy and laughs, which they provided most nights. After numerous cruises, the Broadway shows or singers/dancers get to be routine. I read many reviews about the ship before boarding and was prepared for a very, relaxed and quiet ship which it was. I have way too much energy for this ship, but was very pleased to be docked in Hamilton on Front Street. I would recommend this ship for anyone looking for quiet evenings and no crowds. There was plenty of room for everyone and never any lines and always a place to sit by the buffet.

I was on Deck 6, which is the walking deck. I had an obstructed ocean view but was able to see the sky, the ocean and walkers passing by. They were unable to see into the rooms, but we were able to see them. It was centrally located and right near my muster station. I would recommend this room again.
