I saw something that said 30 days from the sail date, or the 1st of the sail date month… or you can wait to book, once onboard

one will need to book your shows PRIOR to your cruise. Do not attempt to book once on the ship. Go to your RCCL cruise account log-in and see if you can reserve your shows.

As soon as you get on board on the app. I believe it's still one reservation per show per person, if you want to see it again you have to go to the stand by line

I just came back from a cruise on Royal Carribean and wasn't able to book any shows till I was able to check in online.

Reservations usually open 30 days prior to sail date, but with this a new ship, it could be different. I'd just start checking every day at the 30 day mark.
