Review summary

Great ship! Princess doesn't disappoint. The Star is showing some signs of needing refurbishing but still a very good ship. Food was all excellent in Portofino & Capri dining rooms. We only ate once at the buffet but it was very good as well. I do wish they has a few gluten free muffins for breakfast at the buffet. The Dining room staff helped make sure my allergies were handled well though.

We have heard that the Star is being sold in the Fall of 2021 to another part of the Carnival family. We were on this ship to Alaska in 2015. Excellent trip. We sail again on this ship in the spring of 2021.
