Review summary

This ship was going into drydock immediately following the disembarkation of all the guests but a lot of the staff were already disengaged. We did not get a discount on the cost of this cruise so we should not have expected this level of service.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
The embarkation lounge was too small with seating for only about 1/2 of the people there. The other 1/2 had to stand and mill around.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was good.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
The entertainment staff were terrible. Not very friendly. The host of a game show we participated in made a complete mess of explaining how the show worked. It was as if it was the first time he had ever explained it. We talked to other passengers and they were completely confused too.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The stage shows were good.

The service in the dining rooms was great. Our cabin steward did a great job. Entertainment left a lot to be desired. Passenger services desk personal were maybe average to below average.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
This was terrible with everyone having to carry their own luggage off the ship. There was no prior questionnaire on when your flight was so that you had time to disembark to get to the airport on time. Disembarkation times were arbitrarily assigned. There were no disembarkation lounges available. Very poorly organized and executed.
