Review summary
Our vacation was a group of 5 with 2 in a balcony room & 3 in a mini suite. We were all family and as far as our group, we were wonderful traveling companions!
Out mini suite was suppose to come with glasses of champagne! Nope! Had to ask steward about it & 2 glasses showed up. Duh, the room has 3 booked guests! So, another glass came, but all week we had to remind him that we had 3 people in the room! Now, I will say that when it came to bedtime, they would remember to fix all 3 beds! Go figure.
Our trip had many glitches in it but we conquered! We were all determined to not let our vacation be ruined. It did finally got to the point that it was difficult to do this, but we prayed and persevered! We were determined to have a grand time no matter what because our group was my husband & I, our sister-in-law, and her daughter & husband. With this said, our sister-in-law is battling lung cancer & this trip was mostly for her & her & I were doing something that was on our bucket list!
After hearing so many wonderful things about Princess cruises and that Alaska was their specialty, it was so very disappointing for us.
All this said, we have focused on the good that happened on the trip, but very sorry to say that we cannot recommend Princess Cruises to anyone because we cannot recommend for someone to spend a chunk of money and end up as disappointed as we are.
