Star Pride
7 Night Costa Rica & Panama Canal (Puerto Caldera To Colon)
Sail Date: January 07, 2017
Ship: Star Pride
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Cabin Number: 106
Traveled As: Singles/Friends
Reviewed: 1 year ago

Many nice ports of call from Costa Rica to Colon Panama.  My favorite part was the actual transit through the Panama Canal.  It is simply amazing to watch large ships rise or descend through the locks.  The only hiccup was a 9 hour flight delay into Costa Rica from Houston, TX due to volcanic activity in Costa Rica which shut down the airport temporarily.

Cabin / Stateroom

Large cabin, with almost picture sized window, not a port hole. This room was well equipped, a large bathroom with standard size tub and shower. This stateroom even has a walk in closet.

Make sure to bring a camera, perhaps even one capable of time lapse photography to video the ships transiting a lock on the canal.

Actually did not spend any time in Colon so I have no real input on the city.
