Review summary

Great ship, great crew. The food and activities are geared to Chinese clientele. So, if you are an English speaking westerner, I would not recommend this trip.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
Slow with a lot of steps

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
The crew was great and the menu is geared to the Chinese market, especially the windjammer.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The pool and hot tubs were good. The solairium is not adults only.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Again great shows, if you speak Chinese

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great ship and staff

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The 270 room was my favorite place. I think all their new ships should have that room instead of the aqua show.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
I was a solo traveler and the inside cabin was studio sized.

Ship tip

Do not sail on this ship unless you love Chinese food and speak Chinese.

Ports of call

Kumamoto, Kyushu, Japan

1 out of 5
A 90 minute ride for a lousy excursion.

Fukuoka, Japan

1 out of 5
At This port, I took the bullet train to Hiroshima first thing in the morning. In the afternoon sight seeing on my own in Fukuoka.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Much better than embarkation.
