If you enjoy a small, elegant, tasteful yet relaxed cruise experience, I highly recommend the Silver Shadow. There may not be as many entertainment offerings as a large cruise line, but Silversea more than makes up for it with top notch service, excellent dining options, and wonderful, personalized shore excursions. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Overall, the food was excellent. We tried the main dining room, La Terrazzo, The Grill, and room service. The variety , flavors, and portion size were just right. Wine selections were always tasty and complemented the food nicely.
Onboard Activities

As a small ship, there are not a high number of onboard activities. However, we spent much of our cruise on excursions, so the offered activities were more than adequate. We enjoyed the pool, walking track, afternoon trivia, tea time, expert talks, and watercolor class.
Entertainment

The evening shows were fine, what I would expect on a small cruise ship. The exception was the crew "talent" show which was phenomenal!

The service level on the Silver Shadow is truly exceptional. The staff (including dining staff) knew our names on the first day! We never had to wait for service, and our butler was thoughtful and proactive. Truly topnotch service at all levels of ship personnel.

Our cabin was spacious with an unusually large walk in closet and marble bath with separate soaking tub and shower and two sinks.
