Review summary
Silver Galapagos is in need of refurbishment however since you will spend so little time aboard it's hardly an issue. There are activities to do from early morning hikes to snorkelling and sea kyacking. We had a great time and saw amazing animals and landscapes, beautiful unspoiled scenery and beaches as well. You can be off on activities as much or as little as you want. We chose to do as much as possible and fell into bed each night. The food was adequate and at times great. Air conditioning and elevators didn't seem to be working too well. Some travellers were in over their heads as they could not keep up with all the walking but we were fine. Mainly middle aged reasonably fit couples on this cruise.

Ship tip
A reasonable level of fitness is needed as the cruise line indicates. Best for those who are able to walk and swim to fully enjoy the sights and experiences with the animals.
