Review summary

Our first cruise and we are officially converts. The Regatta was lovely, the service was amazing, and the food was fantastic. Most of the passengers were Baby Boomers so we were a little younger than the average but we enjoyed it. We stayed in a PH3 suite which was great. We loved having the butler service although not sure if we would do it again since we didn't really use his services all that much. The bathroom was fine, our balcony had plenty of room, and the bed was really comfy. My favorite place on the boat was Horizons in the morning. Watching the sun rise from the bow with the amazing view was a great way to start the day. Toscana was my favorite restaurant on board by far, but all the food was delicious and none of the restaurants ever got so crowded that you noticed. We will definitely cruise again on Oceania.

I just came back from dinner tonight with my dad...he announced he wants to take everyone on this ship in August for an Alaskan cruise...I was hesitant to commit but your review is wonderful. I would ideally like a gen-x crowd but your description sounds great. thanks

We only cruise Oceania! We sail out in 22 days on the Regatta for a 16 day Central America cruise and we are so excited! We have done transatlantic, Mediterranean, and now Central America within the last 4 years. Before that we tried Princess, Royal Caribbean, and Carnival lines. I can't see us ever going back🚢🚢

First cruise perfection! Great cabin, very nice ship, and a terrific cruise destination. Glad you enjoyed yourself and were able to lower the average age of the ship's cruisers. That may be one reason why you experienced the lack of crowds - you could move faster than most others aboard (lol). Hope your next cruise is just as pleasurable.
