Review summary

The Oceania line is a luxury line of only 3 ships. The Regatta is one of them. We had a wonderful cruise with a stunning itinerary. The food and service are great. We went to such hard to get to places as Virgin Gorda, St. Barts, Turks & Caicos, and Samana (Dominican Republic). The clientele on the ship is very genteel, educated, and refined. The staff has a policy, "nothing is impossible". The only thing we don't like about Oceania is their overpriced and antiquated Internet system. We used Internet cafes on islands.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I don't think you would be this on Crystal at twice the price.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
There is less entertainment on a small ship with 800 passengers than on a megaship with 3000. Read a book for God's sake!

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Don't bring your brats. This is an adult ship.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
"Nothing is impossible".

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
You can't ask for more here. Only 800 passengers and 400 crew.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great, but a refrigerator would be nice.

Pros: the islands we went to

Cons: expensive internet at $55 an hour
