It is a budget level cruiseline if you compare it to Royal Caribbean and Carnival cruiseline. Your buffet choice is limited and if you don't eat pork, even more limited. The ship renovation was a wonderful sight, the ship is certainly bigger than my very 1st cruise on the Pacific Jewel. The main dining room called the Waterfront was good, but the food from Dragon Lady was fantastic. The P&O Australia fleet from 2018 onwards had to included with price dinning options that the likes of Royal Caribbean don't have that isn't an up charge. However, end of the day it is not on par with the other cruiselines. Still enjoyed myself, but I'd would have cruised with the other cruiselines.

Smelt nothing but raw sewage the whole cruise, they open the pools and slides when it's 10 degrees but shut them all when 30 degrees, toilets block up, Luke warm showers half the time because of water shortages, they won't let you off at Mooloolaba when there's a little bit of waves but it can be blowing a gale at Moreton island and they will let you off BECAUSE there in conjunction with P&O (this has happened 2 years running now) Worst cruise ever!

Don't know the answer to that

Scott, can you tell me if the divider between cabins can be removed ?

scott65mcmillan    7 years ago

Yes, they are smaller than today's later ships, fine for are couple, a little cramped for 3 or more, the balcony is small. But don't let that deter you, I've been in worse.

Scott, may I ask how you found the cabins? I've been prowling online and there's not much in the way of photos yet, so using Dawn Princess as a guide. They look a little "cosy" to me.

how is the food I have heard this is a bit of a concern

Thanks for that Scott. Our first P&O coming up next year and I'm experiencing a little trepidation. Good to hear they're raising the bar.
