Review summary

We would like to review this as a positive journey, and cruising by definition always is, but minor inconveniences turned into major objections.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Restaurant selections in the buffet (on a repositioning cruise), were somewhat restricted to Asian food (aside from hamburgers and hotdogs). Alcoholic drinks were exorbitantly and differentially priced at different locations within the ship.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
With the exception of no "Broadway Plays".

Entertainment

Service and Staff

Laida was an exceptional host for us in 12 deck 584.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Well maintained and very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The bed was unfortunately not exceptional in any way, and you would expect a comfortable bed on a cruise. We could even feel the metal supports underneath! There was only ONE AC outlet next to the bed (are you kidding?). Older people may require 1) a CPAP outlet, 2) a computer by the bedside outlet, 3) a close-by charge outlet for cell phone, 4) hearing aid or health alert charge, hearing aid charger, 5) health alert lanyard. Yes, some but not all of these items can be charged elsewhere in the cabin, but get serious. Install more bedside outlets please!

Ship tip

Sail with Norwegian instead.

This was the definition of Chaos. It was terrible, unnecessary and lengthy. You would think that RCI would know how to do this at each port, by now.
