Chops Grille on Ovation of the Seas

Chops was AMAZING!!! Great food great staff

I know everyone raves about Chops Grille, but I wasn’t impressed. I had the lamb chops and they were very fatty. The sides were just so-so.

We’re vegetarian… but some of the best sides and pastas we’ve ever eaten have been at steakhouses. NOT HERE. They had little for us, and even worse, their attitude was dismissive and discouraging. The ONLY sour note in terms of service on the ENTIRE sailing

Food and service was excellent as always

Chops was such a disappointment. Our steaks were cooked to the point of being tougher than shoe leather and tasted as such. The servers tried their best but the kitchen wasn’t able to deliver anything edible.

Service this year, on this ship was MUCH better. Service speed felt a lot more responsive to each party, if they wanted a more typical in and out service it was given, if they were more slow enjoyment the waiters seemed to be more aware this time. We did lunch and dinner here and bother we’re about 1.5 hours instead of the 2.5-3+ hours I’ve sat through in the past. So I’m very happy with this years experience
