Review summary

Just returned from Mediterranean cruise on Oceana sailing out of Malta. Great Itinerary and particularly loved the 2 stops in Croatia. Ship is a bit tired although did like the ship layout and friendliness. Not so good points...food was below expected quality. Menus read well but actual meals didn't match description. Food was bland in main restaurant and in Cafe Jardin.no flexibility in dishes even on basic additions.!! This was our first cruise with P&O and personally would not recommend or rush back. I accept it's all personal choice but on one evening all 8 diners returned main courses!!

We had amazing food on Oceana March 2018. The only place I won't eat is the buffet.

We were on Oceania a few months ago. I agree the cabins are a bit dated however, the rest of the ship is spotless and beautiful. I personally cannot fault Oceania. Always enjoyed the MDR and cafe jardin. It’s each to their own though!

Ship has just had a refit ,so don't know where your coming from. I've trebled on ventures before and loved it, joining Oceana today not pleased seeing your review ☹

Oceana has been refurbished!!! You can't please everyone, we are on oceana in 8 weeks I can't wait!

We been on 4 different P&O ships. We always found the food in the main restaurant and the buffet to be to high standard. The staff can't do enough for you. We on Oceana next year so I make my own mind up about the ship.

I totally agree with you Margaret ! Don’t be put off the newer ships Ventura and azure are better oceana is very tired looking our balcony cabin was very tatty to say the least 🛳

Not the p&o i know. Sounds like your a bit picky and a good moan. Always found buffet food quite good and always a good choice in mdr. Still we all have our favourite ships and lines. Oceana isnt my favourite ship but have always found the crew friendly and helpful . Given the right itinerary i would Sail on here any time
