Review summary

Disappointing One of the biggest draws to a cruise is the food and when it is bad it is very frustrating. I found it amusing that the food a t chops that you paid 60.00 + gratuity’s a plate was very good.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Main dining room food was cold and in many cases unpalatable. We thought maybe because the bout was at capacity they were having a hard time adjusting to the volume of diners. Even by lobster tail night , 2 in our party received mushy tails. Buffet food was sitting under lights to long and was dried out or hard. If it wasn’t made fresh , like eggs, you could expect it to be lukewarm if not cold. All sauces and soups and dressing were very watered down and bland. We did have a excellent dinner in chops though. Of course we had pay extra for that!!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Planned activity and games were fun and entertaining. We also enjoyed the auctions and casino. Pool access was very difficult. We had a full time wheelchair user in our party. Try to get in the pool with our hoyer lif and transferring to pool lift was beyond difficult. From staff’s lack of training to location of pool lift and fighting past chairs, stools, footwear, patrons we were only able to use pool once and it was exhausting.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Diving/ water show was fantastic as was the ice scaring show. Silent Sh was fun to watch but not accessible. Other shows were good. Did not watch Cats performance, believe it was a poor choice for a musical, anything would have been better

Children's Programs

Had no children in party

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Staff worked very hard and despite the crowd did a great job. Wait staff in the dining room was fantastic, to bad food was so horrible.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
In the beginning of the cruise every was well maintained. I think staff just got overwhelmed.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had 3 cabins. One inside cabin. 1 wheelchair accessible balcony with adjoining cabin. The accessible cabin was wonderful. We had twin beds pushed together. The “couch “ they hah for our third person was actually a fold out shot chair. We requested a rollaway bed that had to be folded out of the way when not in use, and it worked out great. We had more than enough room to bring hoyer lift, pillows , bed gate and supplies. Bathroom accommodated the hoyer lift with just enough maneuvering room. We had ramp to outside balcony also. Room was kept clean and ice refilled. My only complaint was that cleaning staff kept large cart outside handicapped rooms. It was a fight to get by it every time we left the room. If they had shoved it 20ft down the hall bast the hallway entrance, there would have been no issues. My son’s elbows are full of bruises.

Ship tip

We’re a mask!! 5 of 6 in our party contracted Covid. Covid is on the ship. No one want to report it because you will get quarantined to your room along with your whole party. There is coughing everywhere by the end of the week
