Review summary

The cruise was great I felt very safe and did not worry about Covid-19 since everyone was vaccinated and had to show a -48 hour negative test. The only problem was the mattress really it was a big problem you can’t go without sleep for seven nights which is what I would have had to do if it was not corrected by extra padding a lot of people had the same problem and you can’t pad every bed some people did not complain they just said they would not return not good for business.

My experience was great Specially restaurant hit or miss mostly hit new restaurants Portside barbecue and playmakers sports bar was great best restaurants they have added to date not everybody wants the fancy food served in the specialty restaurants.

Onboard Activities

Not as much activity as could be they need more trivia and things like Motown music playing in bars like the schooner bar everyone packs the place for Motown trivia and they love singing along to the songs so why not just play those songs sometimes in the background when nothing else is going on people would love it.

Stage shows and musicians some were good and some just OK.

Service and Staff

The service was the best my state room attendant was wonderful all crewmembers I came into contact with went out of their way to help or serve I hope they get to take the mess off soon as it is safe for them to do so.

Design was good common areas were always clean and well-maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

The state rooms were showing a little age but they were very clean but the mattress was so hard I could not sleep on it had to have my attendent put a padding on in order to sleep not good not good at all. I gave a rating of two because of the mattress if my state room attendant had not corrected the problem by putting on an extra padding I would not cruise Oasis again if you can’t sleep you can’t cruise. They really need to look into the mattress problem I spoke to several people on board who were having the same problems.

Ship tip

Beware the mattress may be too hot to sleep on.

Thanks for the review, sorry your bed was too hard, but your cabin steward fixed it. Also many people do not like a soft bed
